Priviet, my dear Dgrin friends!
As you might know (and some of you have helped me a lot in preparation for it - Thank you!!!), my first exhibition (it will be opened until the end of March) shows some of portraits we (with my so called 'models') have made during 2004-2006.
Oh, how happy I'd be if only it was possible for you to visit it!

But!
We have Interenet!

So, why not make a virtual visit?
1 This is sincerely yours Yuri Pautov:

2 Some photos can cause tender emotions :-)

3 I asked some of my 'models' to pose for me with their portraits on the background...

4 ... or beside them.. - like Julia here:
4628.jpg

5 Must say that sometimes strange visitors came to see portraits...
4631.jpg

6 My new friend Hiroshi from Japan sayed that I have proved in photos my statement that the most beautiful girls live in Voronezh city, Russia:

I have made this statement a long time ago, when I only entered Sony Talk Forum at dpreview and saw wonderful portraits made by Yehuda Katz from Israel. People from different countries commented Yehuda's posts: 'Oh, what a beauty!' (I agree) and after my post with this statement they asked me to prove it!
So, I HAD TO start portrait photography! (you can trace my steps at my site - portraits pages)

7 I invited two of my 'models' - Julia and Olesya and asked them to help me with the TV interview - they said some words about our work:

9 This must be strange, but the tv correspondent - Anna - she was my 'model' some months before! (with a very funny story - I have mixed up two TV reporters - I didnt know their names and nearly presented Anna portrait of another women!!!). So I was happy to meet her!

Thank you Yuri for making it possible for us to "attend" your exhibit via the internet!!! It's great to see you (for a change!) in the first shot with your work. I enjoy seeing your models with their shots, as well, especially like the shot of Julia in #4. Almost looks like she is looking in a mirror. The shot of the lady with her dog is fun! My favorite is the shot of your friend Hiroshi in #6 with the lighting on his face and his mesmorized look. Also like the lady so enthralled with your work in #2. Thanks again for remembering us.....we really do wish we could be there with you! Congratulations again! thumb.gif

    Yuri,
Congrats. Your photos are always so interesting to look at - you capture personalities so well in a single frame.

Thanks for taking us to your exhibition - it does feel like we walk around there with your guests.

    Many congratulations, Yuri. Wonderful.

I particularly like #4, with the model looking 'into' her portrait - reflective on many different levels.

    Great stuff.
