with a macro......
This little fellow is about 1cm long, and the wind did not help with focus.....

Looked like there were 3 or 4 different variety of bees including blue banded bees on some days around the same plant

Both hand held.....

Shot at 500th F8, aperture priority, with 105 macro manual focus, available light, ISO 400. D200 set to RAW and cropped to a vertical so not to see a leaf taking over the shot. I have some other in-flight shots, but this was the best of the shoot......... Very hard to keep them in focus but found that manual is better than auto. But with practise you get better........ and best of all they feed in my garden
