No, the hike wasn't long. But it made me realize how much I have to learn about nature/landscape photography. Really looking forward to instruction at Yosemite, but also hoping I get some decent ones there. Anyway, here's my afternoon hike.

It started in an oak grove, with my wife happily skipping.

Leaves of three, let it be...

Well, if you lived here you'd understand how amazing the green is. This scene would be brown 9 months out of the year.

And there's FLOWERS! ;)

This guy's wife made him leave the house, and hike a half mile into the mountains to brush his dogs so that she could make sure none got in the house...

#s 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 are really good examples of wides, and the compositions are lovely.

the whole set is great, but these stood out for me!

Thanks Andy. It's been frustrating. Chatted with lynnesite. She's an hour or two away and swimming in flowers. Looks like I'll have to make a drive.

Also, I've got to just keep going out there and working it.
