Had a quick business trip to Las Vegas, and took a noon time drive through the Red Rocks Canyon.
Really cool terrain, almost all of these are shot from the car window. They have a 13 mile drive that gets really close to the canyon. Since I only had an hour to do this, I cant really do it justice, and of course, that the light was sub optimal.
I am not a landscape photographer, but like these few.
Cool motorcycle Road:
Pot of gold?
Gotta photoshop out the wires:

It is the purpose of life that each of us strives to become actually what he is potentially. We should be obsessed with stretching towards that goal through the world we inhabit.

Having been to USA just a few times I have to say the Rock formations I have seen over the years have just have me in awe, I come from a place that is pretty well flat, you could even compair it with Oklahoma.
To see such sights as you have shown in your photos, has always amazed me, and often the formations on one side of the road are totally different to the other side.
Pssssssst there is not pot of gold at the end of the rainbow I've looked
