Even if it is almost B&W (Laughing.gifOLaughing.gif)

I love the sand being kicked up and the lifeguard station is just really nicely blurred, good job clap.gif

Great shot! Looks likehe's been out there every day for years, no matter what.
That fog and mist hanging out there has been a challenge the last few days.......you used it to your advantage here. Really nicely done.

Thank you all for your wonderful comments and compliments. I'm getting really psyched about my photography now.

This one, along with my other Huntington Beach shot have gotten requests to be printed. If anyone can point me in the right direction as in how to prepare this to be professionaly printed (my hp laserjet won't cut it), I would greatly appreciate it. I am useing PS CS.

    Thanks again in advance,

    man I love this stuff!!!!

just showed this to my boyfriend who loves to surf and he said "wow, he's really captured it." when I asked him what he meant he said "when I go out onto the beach with my board, I never feel limited....and the ocean just fades into the distance." I'd say that's a nice compliment!

Very cool - I love the feeling it portrays. Makes me wish even harder that summer would hurry up and get here so I can head to the beach.

Thank you very much for the kind words. I am still trying to find my "subject" in photography and I think I'm getting close. I would love to know what your b/f thinks of my other shot ( http://www.wanderingthroughlife.com/stf/DSC02699x800_crop.jpg )

    Thanks again,

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Great shot and I agree with everyone else but I can't help wonder what it would've looked like if the surfer was not headed dead on to the lifeguard tower?

I agree... sadly though, this shot wasn't planned, it was just there. I'll keep that in mind though if the chance ever comes up again.

    Thanks for the kind words,
