These fellows were having a little get-together in a treetop on the bank of the kinabatangan river. i've been told they are also called dutch monkey's because of their big noses, which they thought looked like the noses of the dutch traders a few centuries back :rofl . im very insulted.. :bluduh

unfortunatly my KM Z6 was on auto sensitivity so it put the iso at 320, and the noise you get from that... :huh
still, i didn't want to keep a small bit of unchallenged nature from you guys ( we had to drive 2 hours trough seriously challenged nature to get there though..:cry )

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    thanks dick and harryb!

yeah, it was a pain to get them to look at the camera because the monkeys naturally point their backs to the river because the enemy can only come from one side (the forrest). this makes an nice defence mechanism but makes it hard to get a good shot. The fact that you had to shoot from a very wobly boat didnt make things easier rolleyes1.gif.. i almost knocked my girlfriend in the water when i tried to take a picture, thats how small the boat was :D
