Tell her that being fat, is a World problem and she is like many Americans are (I mean rather fat).

Alright. I'm so sick of your pig headed boorish BS hiding behind the notion of your poor grasp of the English language. You're critiques of not only this question but of photographs on dgrin in general are 99% of the time completely useless and totally insulting. Top that off with your rather meager skills as a photographer, especially considering you've been pursuing it for over 30 years, and I'd say you really ought to find a new hobby. Unless of course you're like many Portuguese (I mean mentally retarded). If that's the case keep up the good work. You're shining beacon of hope in a sea of despair.

Your original post was somewhat offensive. Not to me, but I can see how it would offend some. It's unfortunate that the person who complained to you did not do so in a more constructive manner and that they used the same broad generalization tactic of the Portuguese that you used of the Americans. With so many people and cultures in the pot, it's bound to boil over every now and again.

    Terrence.

    I must agree with you.

I did not mean to offend the Americans or any other people.

I heard yesterday in the news that Portuguese are also going fat ...

    Cheers.

Well that person really showed their place in the chain of evolution didn't they....hmmmm....must been one of those short fat americans that eats 2 or three of those plastic meals a day because they think they are healthy...but can't figure out why they weigh over 300lbs and have to buy an extra ticket just to fly.....

Antonio, I personally was laughing my fat A** off (5'9" and 275lbs) while reading your post....having several friend in Europe I can fully understand where you come from....Personally I wish the FDA would outlaw all fast (plastic) food....our country would be much better off in less than 10yrs...obesity would not be any where near the proportions it is today.

    I feel a flamin' comin' on.....rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif

But that depends on what barbecue is, Andy. eek7.gif
I suppose you are refering to grilled meat or fish.
It depends on the kind of meat you have choosen.
    Fish is a good choice.

It would be photos of me eating kale, romaine lettuce, chile, grilled veggies, oatmeal, fresh fruits, whole grain breads, and the like.

But Cody could make it interesting. I should have had him do a "before" pic series :)

If you use any type of sweetener (sugar or the chemical kind) switch to stevia...it won't be with the sweetners, it has to be sold as a herbal supplement....the extracts do not have any real health value except that it only takes 25mg (1/25 of a teaspoon) to replace a teaspoon of sugar....when I make herbal teas I add the dried leaves to my coffee make ( I brew tea in a coffee maker) to sweet the teas as some I use a kinda bitter....since doing this I have started cutting back on my diabetes meds....it is a great sweetner...I use the powered and leaves......

ABSOLUTELY NO....calories or carbs of any kind.....it is the only truly natural and GOOD FOR YOU sweetner....there are even farms growing stevia for their honey bees and getting heathier honey that way............

    Antonio,
    What's the point of this?

At first I didn't read the thread properly. Then I reread this.
I'm trying to understand why you are posting this.

    What a great PM.....

Shame it is was a PM and as such should have stayed private.....

If I'd sent you it I wouldn't want it splashed for all to read or I'd have posted it in the correct thread.

By the way, I'd love to see you start a riot in the UK telling a bride she's fat at the reception... thumb.gif You'd make a great best man speech I'm sure...rolleyes1.gif

Very funny thread for all sorts of reasons..wings.gif
