I dont know why it struck me but I really liked this shot, I was wondering if it was just me....

    yeah. i've done this. try bw conversion and blow out the snow, it's very very cool.

    did you overexpose at shoot, and if so, by how much? it actually works better imo when you overexpose by +1 or 1.3 at shoot.

    I overexposed by prolly 2/3 of a stop spot metering off the snow in the center just to the left of the shadow.
