Hi, i'm a first time user, and definately a beginner, but i took this photo and thought it was pretty good. I used super macro, it has blurred the background maiking the flower the focal point.

Hope you like it.

I'm open to suggestions and critisism, just don't be too harsh

Hi Petal wave.gif Welcome to the Dgrin community.

Either the image is a little out of focus, or it could benefit from some sharpening in PS, or both. Is this image a crop, or a reduced size of the original?

    Hi David,

I think it's all of the above :D I do remember reducing the size to put into another forum.

I am new at this, and don't really have a clue as to what all the buttons do yet, but i thought i'd be brave and put some of my fav. photos on here, so that i can get some feedback as to how to better myself.

Thanks for taking the time to look at it.

Hehehe. Hey, you successfully got a picture up in your first post so you're starting off just fine. thumb.gif It takes a while to get comfortable with it all. You'll pick up a little here and a little there to play all those buttons like a musician before long. And if you hang around here enough, you'll be answering everyone else's questions.

Yes, i know with these things it is trial and error, and also this site is a fantastic learning tool as there are so many different kind of photographers, if that makes any sense.ne_nau.gif (I knew what i meant). I have put a second photo in the people section of my little girl.

My sister actually introduced me to this, as she has her photos on her too.

    Hi and Welcome!wave.gifwave

The flower is definitley out of focus, if you enlarge your original photo and increse the PPI that should help with posting on the board. (I hope I'm right anyway! I tend to shy away from giving technical advice lol)
