Domain & SEO Duplicate Content

Hello
We use our own domain, RIFoto.com, however rifoto.smugmug.com is still accessable. This is causing both sites to have the same content, which Google doesn't like.
I think accounts that use their own domain, smugmug should redirect to the domain if it's accessed by the smugmug subdomain.

If you search for hydrandra flowers, our site comes up #1-2 and then the .smugmug.com site comes up #3-4 (same pages). It's ok for now, but it could be reported as spam if a competitor found the duplicate pages.

2) if you do a site:williams.smugmug.com you'll see:
Results 1 - 10 of about 5,480 from williams.smugmug.com
So while yours doesn't show up both when you search for that keyword, mine is. Google's guidelines say "Don't create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substantially duplicate content." which is exactly what it is. The solution is to 301 redirect to the page that should be shown.
I've tried to add the "<base href.." tag to my header, which worked for most links up until you are browsing the gallery and then when you click an individual image it would bring you to the front page again.

I'm asking about the 301 redirects so much because the smugmug.com keyword listings link to the .smugmug.com address, not the custom domain. I want that link juice to help me out. IE:
http://www.smugmug.com/keyword/all/lighthouse/1/137452089#137452035
It might be easier to change those links than to do the redirecting part but I'm unsure how the backend is written. I still think the redirects would be benefitial, but with the javascript hack I'll calm down a bit =P
