I was practicing with the kit lens on my XTi today, just to see what the best macros I could get would be. Needless to say I couldn't possibly underestimate how pathetic the kti lens is for macros!! Lol...

    Good shots even though the kit lens isn't a macro. I like them.

    At some point I'll be getting one of the macros that LV suggested to me. Probably a 105mm.
