The Grandson Returns
At a little over 3 months, our grandson seems to change daily as his ability to hold his head and now....belly laughing! :roflI'm impatient for the time to where I can take some real portraits of him but until then.....here are some candids with family members
Magnus stylin his new hat with Grandma
Such a happy boy
Our daughter has his attention
Uncle Jason loving every minute
Aunt Erin got him laughing
Ok, time to go!
Thanks for indulging. :lust

Yea, Uncle Jason shaved his head in high school (much to my shagrin) as he has a beautiful head of hair. Now at 26, he still loves no hair...go figure....I even have more than him Thanks for stopping by....this kid brings us much joy!

I used the foamy bounce card on these. Each shot was a different shutter speed and manual....all at ISO 200. A couple shots were with program mode as I continue experimenting the best solutions for available light. One thing I'm not real fond of is a wide aperature as the sharpness and clarity wanes. The lens choice was the 28-135 IS and find the sharpest range is between f/9.0 & f/14. The second & third shots were in manual, 1/160th, f/9. Program mode usually will set it up at 1/60th and f/4.0 which is entirely too soft for my liking......hate it when one eye is in focus and the other isn't unless that's the intent.
When the little guy is able to sit on his own, I'll get everyone out of the way, set him by the window and mess with more ambient light
