My first weekend out with the Nikkor 10.5mm fish eye lense. Im loving this thing. I dont think it will turn out to be a gimik lense or whatever you read about it. It has a place in my bag and I'll be using it! At any rate, it suits my style of shooting.

#1 is the original image. #2 is the image de-fished to create a pano image with PTTools. The image file after de-fishing is 8500x3300 px.

Hi Aaron I feel your joy mate, I recently brought a wide angle 10-22mm and like you its a pleasure playing around with just how much you can fit in a shot.

Have fun.... keep shooting, and sharing :D ... Skippy

I apperciate the effort you put into number two, but I much prefer numero uno. I think that you seem to have a pretty good thing going on with that lens. I also dig the B/W conversion.

Interesting responses! I didnt think #1 would win over #2. I like them both but I thought #2 had something to it that #1 didnt.
