Sky work..

I tried to get some dramatic looks in these. Not sure if it worked.I did one a few weeks ago I really loved:

Landscapes don't usually entice me but I was trying to make it happen here....:dunnoI like it right now but wonder what others think.

    I like 'em. They look like winter in NY, and almost make me a bit homesick for it.

    No, I don't think they are "dramatic"; more the opposite.

    The intentions are clear in every capture but IMHO the compositions are...well...less strong. I do like the first capture.

    Dramatic was the wrong word but not sure how else to put it. I was going for the stark contrast of the barren trees against the parially cloudy skies. The third did not work quite as well.
