I know this has been posted before but can someone explain how to do this in one post?

Say I wanna cut a image/subject from one photo and add it to another.
Or make a blank color BG and add a subject to it.

I read something to this effect on here but it was in several diff posts and I got lost. :wxwax :bash

Soooooo much to learn in PS CS it's not hard to get lost! :doh

TIA Guys!

    Okay,

    here goes easy :D
    1. Open photo with subject
    2. Open photo where the subject should go or create a new file
    3. If you wanted a new one with colour BG, use the fill bucket to fill the BG layer with a color
    4. Select the object you want to copy
    5. press ctrl+c
    6. select the target photo (where the subject should go)
    7. press ctrl+v (this should create a new layer for the subject, if it doesn't press ctrl+z and create a new layer, then press ctrl+v again)
    That should cover it mwink.gif
*In my mind it IS real*
