    Simply delightful!
Awesome lighting, great expression and set up, and love the water beads around his face.
What's your set up on this one? Do you have your own little studio?

    Great image.

Very fun, but a few things are drawing my eye. There's some digital noise especially along the thermometer. Might just be a resizing issue tough to tell. Also, the black background doesn't make much sens, yes you wanted to show the "steam" but in reality your face and glasses are enough. To me the "steam" (seems like dry ice) is actually quite distracting and cartoonish. I think this same image shot in a high key (white background) would give the feeling of being a steam room or shower and not steal the thunder from the great facial features in the image. I might also consider shooting it from an angle with tee face a touch either above or below the camera and slightly cocked to the side. Fish eye distortion could even be very cool here.

It instantly brought a smile to my face, and the lighting is excellent.

Funny Photo! I see you've entered it in the challenge thread. I'm going to try to do you a favor and point out the following from the rules:

To be eligible, digital photos must be shot during the respective 2-week contest period. Entries must have exif embedded or appended. Click here and here for help. Photos entered without proper exif showing a clear shot date will be disqualified.

I don't see any info on your entered image and don't want you to be disqualified just for that reason. Some people who enter by "attaching" images just include the required info in the text above the entered photo. It looks something like this:

    Focal Length: 200mm
    F-number: F/8
    Exposure Time: 1/800 sec.
    ISO Speed: ISO-100
    Metering Mode: Pattern
    Exposure Compensation: 0 step
    Date Picture Taken: 02/28/07 3:43PM

Edit: I see you've got all the EXIF info there now so, as you were, so to speak.
Please feel free to retouch and repost my images. Critique, Suggestions, and Technique tips always welcomed. Thanks for your interest.

Cool shot for the challenge ! I agree with truth on the noise or artifacts on the thermometer ..the only thing I could add maybe is some steam/misty--ness on the glasses to give more steam effect - they look too clear to be in so much steam :)
    good luck !
