I'm trying out smugmug.

I added two new galleries (plus a test gallery which is not public) -- but they've DISAPPEARED from my home page

Also, note that my 'bio' has expanded to a huge size even though there's nothing after my email address.

I can still get to a list of galleries (and individual galleries) from:

Go into your control and if your see your galleries or catrgories click display
in the upper right corner. This toggles them back and forth between your
    homepage and the control panel.

I'm not sure I follow that --- I went into each gallery and 'featured' it -- but my BIO is still huge.

Ah ... galleries organize | display show hide

I clicked on SHOW and they came back.

    Thanks for the prompt help!

I have a spam-blocker which blocks javascript. When I turn it off the page displays OK.

I don't know why it displayed alright for seven days and then turned nasty! Ah well, that's computers for you ....

Hijacking my own topic -- where to test?
My galleries are still there : but I think I need to reorganize my site around categories and subcategories.

However, I'm very likely to break something while experimenting, and I'd prefer not to go 'dark' in the process.

Is there any way to set up a test site and then cut it over into production?
(Other than signing up for a 14-day trial, and cut-and-pasting the customization from one to the other ? I still have 3999 email accounts left on my main ISP headscratch.gif )
