I would have preferred it if the frozen dew drop had been more sharp. However, I have had a few friends tell me this is still a good image. But, since they're friends, I'm not sure if they're just being kind. I'd love some honest C&C from fellow Dgrinners--Thanks!

I think the details and the light in the drop are beatiful. I would, however, crop the image to give the drop more presence.

    It's nice but....
I don't believe the image will hold up for many votes. I like the sparkle but overall the shot needs more "grab" your attention and hold it features. I have a sneaky suspicion the entries are going to have to be the blow your socks off types in order to hold their weight at voting time.

i think it's an incredible shot,
those crystals on that drop are amazing. love the glistens too. I agree with the other poster about a tighter crop.

Beautiful capture of the frozen dew! The shiny sparkle on the end of it looks incredible, and is my favorite part of your photograph. That said, I will also agree that a tighter crop would work better. I am a bit distracted by the how the background is blurred---maybe it's too shiny/glowy or something, and by the leaves underneath the dew drop (which a crop would eliminate).

    happy day,
