Heading for another clime

My first dcam/dslr was an Oly D1400L (USA D600L) 1.3MP dslr with a non-interchangeable 3x zoom. It had a shutter up to 1/4000 and down to 30sec which when combined with the fact that it was an SLR was very cool for the times. For the geeks, I will add that it had a SPARC processor and ran a version of embedded SunOS internally.

    is this pic from that camera? cool - what's the vintage?

    I bought the camera in 1996 or 97 in Japan before it was released in the US. The picture was sometime in 1998. I was traveling so much that I actual don't remember what years and months.
