I thought I'd round out my Thailand journey posts with a few of my favourite captures of what attracts so many people to this area.

Sooooo many fire shows, we timed it for the Fire games so people were training most days and nights leading up to the event

Let the games begin

Everyone has to try the slackline

Most mornings or evenings there'd be at least one base jumper

This is Tim Emmett for those that know there extreme sports
133330083-M.jpg

Unfortunately on this jump the wind gusted up and pushed him into the cliff infront of alot of snap happy onlookers

He was unhurt and jumped again the following day but he was still very lucky

Another reason to go is for the amazing natural beauty of the land

and you definitely can't go past those amazing sunsets...

and some of the local species

plenty of these about if you keep your eyes open

Its a little hard to tell but it is a hermit crab

I'll finish up with a bit of fun on a monster rope swing set up to raise funds to replace dubious bolts on some climbs
133334532-M.jpg

133340473-M.jpg

oh and the other main resason people come here, chillin on the beach and hanging out in funky hand made bars!

I might've missed it, but which part of Thailand did you say this was?

After looking at your gorgeous shots, it's no more Bangkok for me!

Hey LW, those photo's were all taken either on Tonsai Beach or surrounding area's. The nearest major town is Krabi, about 1 and a half hour flight south of Bangkok.
    Thanks for looking thumb.gif
