I am not 100% satisfied with this one and I think what is missing for me is some more contrast in the sky. I am having trouble making it work. Any suggestions?

I have been searching for a good bare tree next to an old house image but no luck yet.

Darken the top corners of your image and the tree will jump out

nod.gif Agree. An Ansel Adams edge vignetting might just do the trick.

If you're using the channel mixer for your conversion try boosting the red channel.

    R: 125%
    G: 0%
    B: 0%
    Constant: -10% ish.
