all love these little guys.

Canon XTi, Canon 28-300. Me lying on the wet ground 3 feet away from
this very vicious creature.

    The vole looks like it is thinking about doing something.... E V I L.

    Glad you survived the shoot, Dave. They can get quite vicious in the wild. Especially this time of year.

    but I am confused with the title other than owls, hawks and raptors would love to probably eat the vole. :D

    Great capture Dave.
    I watched one of these little guys take on our 20lb cat and win!!!!!No hesitation on the voles part to jump at the cat and try biting - none what so ever!

    Yesterday, we had a porcupine walk through the back yard and climb about 20 feet up a tree, and nap! Gotta get to the other 'puter to work the RAW files.....


    Th shot was worth some wet clothe, Dave -glad you braved it's wath.
