LPF attempt, chilled/steamy

Though I have been a lurker at this section for a long time, this is my first attempt at participating in the challenge. I have a few shots, couple for both steamy and chilled, and would appreciate your feedback.

This is my first attempt at the dgrin challenges!

Steamy:
The pics under the watches are steamy and are blurred keeping in mind the PG-13 rating of the contest .
Anyways let me know if I can develop that angle.

I liked the concept behind your chilled pictured. But IMHO they should be darker. Both the skin (which looks very overexposed) and the red which should be a darker red (maybe crimson like).

Just my 2 cents.

I agree with pyro on the chilled shot being too overexposed ..wish I could see the exif - is there a flash used ? maybe a lower DOF on the shot to get a more softer, sensual look on the lips ..the lighting looks too harsh on them.
steamy - the watch doesn't add much , looks like..#3 with a black BG, concentrating on the steam might be better ?

I will try a reshoot on the chilled one.
Should I go the first pic way or the second one.
Replicating the water droplet would be tough!
I have RAW file. so will try to do PP.

Ok, time for reshoot. Should I leave it all in color. or stick with lips color and everything black and white?
I was even thinking of using colored ice, maybe with blue crystals for more impact.
So let me know your thoughts

The first one is more pleasing to the eye but the second is very seductive. I would like to see both your dark idea and one with the natural tones.

i agree that the light is too harsh, but also i think that it would look better with smoother cutting out of the lips. they are kinda squar on the out side sides, that kinda bothered me. but i really like the idea... a lot.

#1, there seems to be a little too much of a blue cast in the second. I like the concept, too.
