Great shooting. I really like the phoebe and Cooper's hawk. That other bird looks like it could be a sparrow of some type. I've given up on identifying them because there are so many different variations!

thanks it did for not much light I was happy with it good day of shooting you know I forgot we shot the coopers so it is always a raptor day when we shoot

the ids on birds is very hard season has a play age ,sex, region too many factors -but I like to try and i do know a few folks now that are dam good at it --it ain't me thanks for commenting
a hawk ,kestrel ,hummers -one eating mosquitoes woodpecker and a few ducks yep luckie and a great fun day in the outdoors oh yea it was in the hi 80s to boot --ah SO. Calif. thanks for commenting

I got a kick out of that shot -but luck in that capture did not come to play I saw the behavior --then got the shot --I was hoping for a kingfisher taking a flower home but no thanks for commenting - luck did play in a shot of a hummer eating mosquitos in flight that was a lucky shot :ivar
you is right they are the better shots I do agree --this is why I called to see if you wanted to shot --we almost thought we had a day at bolsa with a raptor :cry thanks for stooping by --that was a very goooood capture peli & comorant

The clarity in the killdeer is great, but gotta agree the bluebird (yeah, male) and coopers steal the show.
Good to see you out chasing the birds again. We're going to have to do that SS owl hunt soon.
