A men sitting next to Sydney Town Hall. Behind him a glass wall fencing of the entry to the railway station. By a curious light and half reflective nature of glass he gets halved and doubled at the same time. Naturally, to capture such photo you need to select your position where the angle of view creates strongest mirroring effect.

    hey ted,
cool shot, but why did you include all the background clutter, especially the building facades? personally I'm more interested in the statue then the man!

I agree with Owen that you should zoom in a bit more to the man. i'm quite distracted by the background.

    GREAT idea and neat shot!

I know this is a "big" picture with lots of stuff in it.
As you know I usually isolate people (often I'm told too much) in my photos but sometimes it just doesn't work or, like in this case, I simply like it that way. There is lots of reflections here, not just the main character. There is the old and new, modern and old fashioned, warm and cold etc. Busy but not boring.

It lacks a focal point though, imo.

I like it. And it's easy to see the focal point, at least to me.

    Nice shot.

I love it just the way it is! I was concentrating on the man and his reflection so much I forgot the background. It is busy back there, but the eye is drawn straight to the man in the center lettind all the clutter fall away. There are many ways to explore this image and you can see different things everytime you look.
