Hey Cookie! Thanks for posting some horse shots! The girl on the speed horse is so cute! Also, the close-up jumper (pinto w/girl rider) is nice, I started to really dislike all the hundreds and thousands of jump shots that are all the exact same with all 12' of jump with and 6' of wing standards with a 2' wide horse jumping in the middle. Of course sometimes the angle and the very original jumper jumps make those full shots very nice, like you shot of the red/black and white oxer. Since you were at an angle you were able to fit the whole jump in quite nicely while still showing that the horse is the subject, not the jump.
Very nice shots. That grey jumper is magnificent. I too like seeing more than just the horse. The whole scene like you shot it makes it what it is.
On a side note.
My sister lives in Citra, just a few miles from Ocala and has a really nice guest house for rent. She's been trying to get some of the hunter/jumper people in there as she is a horse person also. If you know anyone, let me know and I can give you more details.
