I like the attempt, but the fact that the flash hit the knee and it's so strong in the foreground is distracting to me. I would have used a more diffuse light source, or tried to use shadows/highlights to pull down the knee and pull up the head a bit. Not to make them equal of course, but just the knee is a HUGE hotspot and I have a tough time looking at the rest of the image for long before I'm drawn back to the knee/shin.

I agree that the subject has interest, but the knee is just too hot.

The flash should have been removed from the camera and fired from stage left via remote control.

I agree. The spot that bothers me more than the knee are the hotspots on the undersides of the eyelids. Even though the knee is brighter, the eye hotspots look so out of place they jump out at me.

Any chance for a reshoot on this? I think it really has potential!!

    Re; Flash
There was no flash - just natural light. But I can balance that more, seems hot to me too.
Thanks for the feedback - helpful!
