4A State Final between 2 superb BB teams
New Hanover vs Vance
this was my first BB game w/ a 2.8 lens and w/ a zoom, and it was great being to compose more in the cam

    thx Christopher...the light was amazing but the tints killed me...the 1st 3 games were almost total washouts because i shot jpg and wb was bad...good lessons for next year

    WOW... fantastic action! Would you send me some info on your equipment and settings used? I know it's the master behind the shutter but I would be interested to know what equipment the master uses! Thanks...

    canon 30d + 70-200 2.8
    nikon d2hs + 28-70 2.8

    shot in Aperture priority at f2.8, iso 1000 on the canon and 1250-1600 on the nikon (i was using auto iso)

    ss-s of at least 1/500

    some shot in RAW & some jpg

    WB was a disaster, worse on the nikon but repairable on the RAW shots, most of the jpgs are prob throw aways...
    I need to manually set WB from now on and plan on getting a whibal card to do it
