Danni is a high school senior and my nephews girlfriend. I normally do nature photographs but I volunteered to take some free portraits for her.
Rough duty! (6 pics.

What a lovely girl, and she seems comfortable in front of the camera (one doesn't always lend itself to the other!)

#4 and #5 are stunning. The light in #4 is wondrous; looks amazing with her skin tone and what she's wearing, the background, etc. I do think DavidTO's pop tutorial would greatly benefit these, especially #4's low contrast tonality.

Wonderful work for your first session....clap.gif

    Nice captures.

Overall, the whites of her eyes are a bit too white. Other than that that, great series. I love the painterly backgrounds.

    haha

I think she was a little surprised.
She is kind of shy and doesn't know how pretty she is.
    She liked them a lot.

This is nature also and you did a fantastic job. thumb.gif

She should be very happy with these shots.

These are great! I agree with all previous comments. Lynne is right, these shots are begging to be 'popped'. The backgrounds are beautiful and the lighting is too. I agree with Owen that her you over-whitened in shot #3 both her eyes and her teeth. Her teeth have almost a bluish cast. Just popping the shots may be all the whitening you will need as she appears to have a very nice smile and eyes. She's a natural in front of the camera.

OK, I was beginning to wonder if the eyes had been whitened or not. They looked a bit excessive to me too.

But other than that... man, rough job :) Nicely done!
