Question regarding print size

I have an image in my gallery that someone has asked what is the largest size it can be printed.

It can be seen here:
http://ghealy.smugmug.com/gallery/928553/2/66960677/Large

Original is 2417 x 1360 ppi

When I attempt to put it throuh the shopping card, it seems as if the system would allow me to order a print at 24 x36 inches. (I realized there will be a white border top & bottom.) This seems much too large for the size of the image.

Was wondering if someone had experience in this and could advise just how big a photo I could expect to print and still have a decent output quality.

TIA

    Do you ever sleep?!? <grin>

I read that, Andy. Guess what I was looking for was feedback from other customers on their experiences with printing such large photos from a smaller original.

Thanks for the quick response, Andy.
