    Great shot...those buggers are hard to get to sit still. The details on the feathers are fascinating. What kind of lense are you using?

    thx everyone
    the lens was a nikon 300mm f4 afs
    this is also a crop
    shot on a tripod w/ 2 sb800's also on tripods and very near the feeder
    we stood still long enuf and they started to come around
    we never really frooze one in flight tho
    we needed more practice
