Hi all!

I was in Munich for the last couple of days. In between sessions at a very exciting conference, I got out & about to see what I could find. I'm trying to get over my shyness for approaching people to take their picture, so quite a few people shots in here. Generally difficult flat light unfortunately, but you use what you've got...

#1 A large red "R" in the corner of this square for no apparent reason I could fathom. No other large letters around anywhere that I could see. Wierd.

#2 Old guy all dressed up playing a barrel organ.

#3 Arresting shoe shop window display.

#4 A couple of tramps sitting on the street

#5 The doorman at my rather plush hotel. Had a long chat with him - very nice guy.

#6 This guy was playing the xylophone. He was mighty good - I reckon he was a pro. Absolultey outstanding.

#7 A mime artist taking a welcome financial contribution from a little girl.

#8 Outdoor piano player. I was watching the watchers - check out the baby...

I missed the best opportunity I've ever had though. Michael Jackson and his veiled kids came through Heathrow just in front of me. I was still waiting for my bag, which appeared 20 secs later. By the time I'd got out through customs they were just disappearing down a side exit. Aaarrrghh! Could have flogged that shot for a few quid I reckon. No paps about so I'd have had an exclusive!!

Excellent street shots. My favourite is the Piano busker. Not a common sight that to see someone has lugged a piano onto a street. Great expression on his face.

    Thanks for sharing.

I like #2 myself. Reminds me when I was in the army stationed at Stuttgart in the early 80's. I tried to take a picture of one of those one man band guys, with the old tux and top hat, cybals between his knees and everything. Everytime I raised the camera, he would stop playing and do this goofy pose. Not sure if he was encouraging or discourage me from taking his picture, but I could not get one of him playing. :bluduh I stopped after four or five tries, felt bad about interupting his song.

Anyways, thanks for the series. Very nicely done.
