Just got back from Nashville

Had to go to Nashville on a business trip, and managed to sneak some photo-time in one evening. Overall, downtown Nashville is pretty cool :thumb There is a ton of stuff to do within a 4 block radius.
These photos are highly post processed to help with the sky. It was overcast and drizzling. All are hand-held with a Canon 1DMKII and 24-105L f4 IS.
This is three exposures merged in HDR. I know the buildings aren't as straight as they should be, but I would have had to crop too much out to make it work better.
The fountain is another reason why I love IS so much! Hand-held at 0.025 secs!!! This one has the least amount of PPing - only some color help on the sky and I removed a big construction crane from behind the statue.
This is also two exposures: one for the building and one for the sky. Because I was shooting hand-held I didn't line the edge of the building up too well so I had to reconstruct some of the top edges and the sky.
Hope you enjoy them. If I was there another day I could have gone back for some better captures.

I used to live in Nashville and miss it terribly...it was great to see some familiers....Thanks for taking me back...Good shot of the Bat Building too! (The locals call the Bellsouth building that because of the pointy tips, looks like Batmans hood).....Nice pics though, I really like the last one too!
I didn't know it was the bat buidling - too funny
