Some trouble viewing main IMG in SM view

Andy, etc. - I know this has come up in the past shortly after the most recent upgrades. I'm looking at another SM'ers gallery at the moment & cannot see the "main" image in the SmugMug standard view. My galleries seem to work just fine, which is kind of strange.

Anyway, here are his galleries: http://atenpo.smugmug.com/gallery/2328895#121827289

Here are mine:

Here's what I see in his gallery:

The last time I saw this it was in my own galleries and cleared up on it's own very shortly after the problem started. I am behind a corporate firewall; perhaps it's blocking one of the SM servers?

edit: I'll take that back - it doesn't seem like it's being blocked... If I right click on the black area and select "View Image" it pops up with no problem. Strange issue. Let me know if I can help with more info.

Dang - you're right! A full refresh of the page fixed it. Thanks!

    Same Trouble With SmugMug Style
I am having the same trouble. I set the gallery style to smugmug but I get nothing, just a swirly in the upper left corner. I have gone to others sites and the same thing. I have Java updated for IE, and have done all of the above for firefox.ne_nau.gif

mcarthur.smugmug.com and go to the gallery with the horse on it....the rest I believe I have set to thumbnails as a workaround to the problem I am having.

With firefox, what do you get for results on this testing page?

So, do you have any external software that's blocking images? Is this occurring at home? At work? Have you tried another computer elsewhere? I see all your images just fine, in FF, IE6, 7 - no problem.

So, what's unique about your setup?

Hmmm. Sorry but I have to think on this.

Seems to be working on my other work computer but not this one. I am going to accuse Norton Corporate Edition......it seems to show on the host computer perhaps not the client computer??? I will snoop around in settings there.

After an entire afternoon of sweating over this I figured it out. Win Proxy was blocking it with its anti-phishing filter. I disabled it and wa-la! It was blocking some other pages as well so I went to figuring it out. Thought I would post back just in case someone else is having the same trouble.
