Daylight savings time, a sunny 75 degree afternoon, and a twi-night double header between the JV and Varsity lacrosse squads from two cross town rival high schools.

I'm not sure that it gets any better than this.

I hate to say it, but it looks to me as though Jared's goal shouldn't count.

    Nice action, Kent.

Crease violation or not, you have to love the look on the goalie's face. Great shots!

Weather up here in MD isn't looking good for the weekend. We'll just be looking for your posts...

    It counted.

This reminds me of the somewhat famous quote from an old baseball umpire.

    It goes something like this:

"Some of `um are balls. Some of `um are strikes. But none of `um ain't nothing til I call `um." :D

On a second viewing, I have to correct my earlier call. This goal should have counted (and did); he's not in the crease.

The yellow line is marking the penalty arc just outside of the goal area for soccer games. The red line is the lacrosse goal crease.

This field is marked for football, soccer, and lacrosse.
