Early season big surf at the Wedge

We got an early spring suprise in Newport Beach this week as an unusual early season Southern Hemi swell brought the usually sleepy in winter Wedge to life this week with some 8-10' sets.

    That water is gorgeous! I'm used to seeing the Atlantic here on the Maryland/Delaware shore...it looks NOTHING like that!

    Thanks all! Its great to see my favorite break fire up early. The talent level of the bodyboarders there is so good. Props to those guys for charging on those crazy waves.
