Need quick comments/critiques on Chilly

Got a few more chances to make this better but need your thoughts quick...it's 6:30pm already and light is fading fast....

    A) both images are pretty soft / OOF

    B) the 2nd image is too dark

    C) You gots some ugly as feets

    A) I could barely keep the camera study...it was damn cold in that snow!

    B) Agreed

    C) My wife assured me that that would be at least one person's comment!

    Does the concept work though - I'll try again tomorrow when it is light out and, maybe, with my wife's prettier toes...:D

    Hey truth, you think those are some ugly feet. You would not like to see mine! I skateboard snowboard and always seem to wear steeltoe boots!

    I agree with the above comments, also if you don't shoot in RAW nows a good time to start.. casue your white balance is a bit off. Good ideas though!

    You ask if the concept works. To be honest, I'd say you need to bring a much higher level of creativity to the execution, to make it work.

    Right now, it's ordinary, and many of us have made similar shots in the past. For the contest, you need to flex your creative side, take some chances!

    Thanks for the comments and you're right. Went with something completely different today and I'm hoping it works a lot better for the contest. Would greatly appreciate your thoughts on the execution of the idea.
