My last wedding was during a blizzard, so I occasionally put my lens up against the window and shot a few...

Thanks! Ironically I've been perusing the old stf challenges tonight... man, hard to believe it was 5 years ago...

Cool how the pics and names bring back such fond memories. :)

They're lovely shots, particularly the second one for me, very artistic. I would imagine that would make a successful stock image.

Hey Jim. The blizzard sure was fun.

I went to your open house with the wife, however long ago that was.
Are you still working out of the same studio?

No matter how hard I tried, he always turned his back on me just in time.

    Jim...
Certainly looks like Winter! Prolly a good thing you were inside shooting out. These capture the essence of the day. A wedding party pose out there would have made for conversation..Laughing.gif

Hi Dave! I remember you and your wife stopping in! It's been a while!

An actually, no, I've moved again (3 studios in 4 years), I'm now in the Grain Belt complex along the Mississippi. Much more useful space and we've got it decked out pretty nice now... although we had some work to do...

Need to get some pics of it all decked out... although we did woop it up on NYE...

Swartzy... trust me, I tried and tried and tried. How sweet would it have been for them to be walking down the fairway!

I have had willing brides before, though...

    Hi Jim

The shot of the bride in the snow is just jawdropping! Wow!

    The others are great too.

Is that you in your avatar? Looks like being an artist suits you...

    Hi Ann!!!

Thanks! She was the greatest bride. I called her up the day of this beautiful snowfall and asked if she had her dress yet... she got all excited and met me 30 minutes later.

Yeah, that's me... from crew cut to no cut. haha It's a little bit shorter now, but not by much...

    How are you?!?!

Hey Jim, cool story - nice to have willing subjects.

Cool hair too - really glad that this has all come together for you.

I am well, busy and not shooting much, but finally did some customizing on my smugmug site and I am happy about that.

How are you? And the kids?

    Hi Jim :ivar

These are really nice (as usual) - you have such a knack for the winter scenes. I love the first one. That bride in the snow is awesome!
