Hi,
I registered my domain name (www.wowmephotos.com) with GoDaddy yesterday. I had no problem following your tutorial setting things up. I put a CNAME and @ with the current IP for smugmug.
However when I search "wowmephotos" on google it doesn't come up to my home page.
This is the URL for the search http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rls=GGLG%2CGGLG%3A2006-25%2CGGLG%3Aen&q=wowmephotos&btnG=Search
What's really confusing is it worked the right way (the first search link went to my home page) last night right after I registered my domain.:scratch
What did I do wrong? And how do I fix it?

Short answer: it could take weeks or months for Google to find and index your site.
Long answer: there are thousand-page tutorials out there dedicated solely to getting sites indexed in the #1 position on Google.
Cliff's notes: Add a link to your site in your signature here on Digital Grin; it will speed things up.
Edit: Nevermind, Google found you. Probably because you linked to your site from here.
