    It's a nice shot, but I think it can be improved, if
    • you either get real close or step back and include the end or the root of the icicle (or both)
    • make sure your background is not cluttered

    I like the second icicle better than the first. The shape is very interesting, kind of resembles a lizard. I like the duck too, all that snow on his beak Brrr.

    "Cold Duck" rolleyes1.gif . That one brightened my day. However, it my be a cultural reference that not all the judges will get.
