Thanks for the comments everyone -- I'm not sure which way I'm leaning, because I like them both. When I start PPing an image I'm usually pretty sure which way I want to go, but in this case I like the way it works both in color and b&w. Oh decisions, decisions

I like this line of thought I was thinkin about keeping the building in color and everything else including the smoke stack in B&W. Soft lit images tend to fall into this conundrum especially those with a strong composition like yours. The only reason for color is to exaggerate a mood with a cast as Pezpix suggested or follow a more recent trend and mask in color where you want to emphasize the subject. Good luck!
