Here's an image of my daughter taken this winter at the shoreline. C&C is always welcome.

Cute baby!.... nice crisp shot, I think I would have prefered a tighter crop clap.gif

Thank you! I did a bunch that day and processed some color, others sepia, others B&W, close crops, wide crops, etc. I'll see what I can find. Here's another that I really liked (this one is framed):

Your second posted photo has a timeless quality to it. i can see why you framed it. It seems she has knowledge beyond her years in this shot.

P.S. I like your signature line. I'm going to borrow it if you don't mind.

Borrowing my signature line? That would be my pleasure.

Thank you very much for the look and kind words.

Totally agree about both photos! I would love to see the first one cropped tighter and I just LOVE the second one! Beautiful girl!

Stephen, the sepia image (2nd posted) is indeed a great capture and an excellent example that family photos do need to be boring or unimaginative.

Couple comments-- maybe expose for the background then drop it by a half stop or so? Then use a fill flash on the subject? I bet that would make the subject really stand out.
