I quite like it - very surreal. I would have liked to see a longer-exposed version too...

    Great pic!
Very serene and tranquil soothing blue. I really love the pic. Seems like the water and the sky have reached salvation.

    It's a really neat image.
Did you do any cloning, etc. on the sky in PP?

    Thanks everyone, for the comments.

Nimai, the sky is the result of copying the sky onto several different layers. Each layer has a specific area or cloud section that was cloned from the original and processed with 'Selective Color' and 'levels' and 'contrast' 'brightness' adjustments varying from layer to layer. The layers were stacked in such a way that the adjusted portion in a layer overlapped the adjustment on the layer beneath it.

These adjustment layers have produced a 'cheezy' (perhaps over Exaggerated) illusion of depth and dimension. I have mixed emotions about the effect. Sometimes I like it and sometimes not so much.

Hi, I like the tone and feel of the picture. It seems painterly. The ice covered rocks of the jetty seem like large animals huddled together. The feeling of lonliness seems to emanate from this as well as the overall color of the photo. Have you considered a crop above the waves ?
