Up a Tree

Here's one I ran across from last fall. It is my daughter and her two best friends. My daughter, in the middle, loves to climb.

Do their expressions look too posed? C&C welcome.

I love taking pics of my kids up in trees.

I don't think yours is too posed. I mean, it's not high art, it's a shot of kids you know. It's cute, it's nice to look at. What more could you want?

She's wearing my SmugMug hat in this one. She hates all these, BTW.

Those are good. I especially like the wide angle perspective on the first one. Are you trying to trump my trump my thread?

I like pictures of kids in trees. Being in a tree is such a kid thing, eh?

Here is another one of my daughter in a tree. Trees and playgrounds are my two favorite environments to take pictures of my kids in. It's great to catch them having fun.

I don't think they look too posed. In fact, I think the shot looks really great! The lighting has a very soft, almost painterly feel to it, but still with nice sharp details. Definitely a keeper.

Thanks for the feedback and kind words Nimai.

I still have a hard time judging many aspects of my photos. The great folks on DGrin have been a huge help in this regard. I have no where else to get critical feedback on my pictures. When it comes to expressions, my wife for example, likes the pasted on fake smiles. It drives my crazy.
