I shot a choir on Saturday evening... kinda like a little variety in the work...
All shot with 30d and 85 1.8, ISO 800 at 1.8. The first MIGHT be at 2.8. Shutter speeds were 1/100th and 1/500th for the drum shot.

Live with intention.
Walk to the edge.
Listen hard.
Pratice wellness.
Play with abandon.
Laugh.
Choose with no regrets.
Appreciate your friends.
Continue to learn.
Do what you love.
Live as if this is all there is.

I have shot a couple of school concerts and plays. I find it very satisfying to get a good shot from what is usually ucky conditions.
Of course, Jim, yours are better than good. Well done.

Great series! I like the shallow DoF!

I particularly like the second one. Great light / color and the shallow DOF paired with your compositional choice gives the print a wonderful 3D appearance.

I enjoy these little side gigs for their variety.
I'd shot a wedding in this church, so I knew what to expect which made me even more excited about shooting it.
Have a great weekend!
