By the opening remark Gubbs I assume that you have seen your share of castles. I was raised in seattle and I have been away for about four years and when I went back all of a sudden those things that were so boring became the best photos. I think that sometimes we as people become complacent with our surrondings and being creative with the same things become a struggle. However, I think it is refreshing to so others view of world here. It allows me to challenge myself to use just some of that creativity that you have used to create something truly beutiful. Thank you for the post. Oh Yeah, I wont get tired of castles.

a rare central composition that pleases the eye
lovely color, the geen on the tree bard and the red pink of that sky!
the moving swan, accenting the grace of the castle.

Heck no!!! That's a beauty of a shot. I echo Andy's comments about the mixture of red and green. Very nice.

On another note: one of the things on my "To do" list is visit your side of the pond and see some castles. So, until I get the opportunity to do so, this is like a virtual tour for me. I love 'em.
