I'm waiting for some great street shots of hair styles.:D
I actually composed that music myself using "Garge Band". Took 20 minutes. Gotta love royalty free sound loops and an easy user interface.

Blah blah blah.....
If I had a nickel for every time I've heard this I'd have like 20 nickels. I agree though, to a point. If this was a web store or a site designed to capture new customers via search engines I'd agree. It's not. It's a site for people (mostly women) who are going to be searching it out intentionally. Thus I felt it was more important to play up a luxury theme and a cool, slick vibe than to worry about an extra 5 seconds and a click. It's a gamble but I know the only times I've bailed on flash sites was if they were REALLY slow to load or it was a site that I had stumbled upon in a rush to find a tidbit of info. I guess Google Analytics will be the judge eh?
Thanks for checking it out though.
Are they paying you?
Do they have friends?

I totallly agree.
I also think in this particular case, the intro page is not enhancing the experience at all. It's boring. If it was a more interesting animation, like a whole bunch of photos of interesting haircuts flashing by, I might agree that it serves a purpose, but all I see is barrier.
Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.
