I actually composed that music myself using "Garge Band". Took 20 minutes. Gotta love royalty free sound loops and an easy user interface.

Looking good. I like the font and color scheme. My only real nit is the intro page. I know a lot of people use them and it is only one click, but it's not good information design. They put up a barrier between the viewer and the real content by making them wait for it to load. The presence of the "enter" or "skip" option you often see makes the viewer question why the intro is there in the fiirst place. The barrier is subtle, but it does have an effect on the viewer and often does not draw them in further. Check out Edward Tufte's writings on this and other information design topics for some help and inspiration.

    Blah blah blah....Laughing.gif. :D

If I had a nickel for every time I've heard this I'd have like 20 nickels. I agree though, to a point. If this was a web store or a site designed to capture new customers via search engines I'd agree. It's not. It's a site for people (mostly women) who are going to be searching it out intentionally. Thus I felt it was more important to play up a luxury theme and a cool, slick vibe than to worry about an extra 5 seconds and a click. It's a gamble but I know the only times I've bailed on flash sites was if they were REALLY slow to load or it was a site that I had stumbled upon in a rush to find a tidbit of info. I guess Google Analytics will be the judge eh?

Thanks for checking it out though.

So it's a vanity website? No purpose other than to take up internet real estate?

    Are they paying you?

    Do they have friends?

I'd say it's pretty good. Why? Because I assumed it was a link to a photography website and the first thing I said when I got there is "This looks like a website for a hair salon, not a photo website"

    I totallly agree.

I also think in this particular case, the intro page is not enhancing the experience at all. It's boring. If it was a more interesting animation, like a whole bunch of photos of interesting haircuts flashing by, I might agree that it serves a purpose, but all I see is barrier.
