    Do you have any pics with the Tokina at f2.8?

    Thanks for posting the pics. They look sharp enough to me. I've been looking for a f2.8 lens in this zoom range, but this is much more affordable than the other lenses I was looking at (Sigma 18-50MM, 2.8 ~$400). I now just have to get permission. It may take me a few days to catch the wife at just the right moment. But I can make no promises. I'll send you a PM if I get the go ahead.

    Okay, so on a Nikon D body (D200/70/50) the 12mm fish eye would be a 24mm fish eye, fixed focus lens? I guess you adjust the area of focal crispness via the F-stop?

    {If this works the way I THINK it does... I'm tempted.}

    It would be more like an 18mm, I think
    D50, 28-105mm, 150mm, 300mm f/4

    Yep kres... you're right on both counts. Please keep in mind you'd be in manual mode with this lens.

    Thanks for the correction two slow... errrr, faster than me!

    Yes... I know. Selling these lenses so I can buy some other lenses I have my eye on. Hi, my name is Seymore and I'm a lens-a-holic. mwink.gif

    Sure... just went out and took some samples in my front yard, HERE. The tree I shot is about 5-6' from where I setup the pod.
