How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    A fine head of hair!
This could be me.....many years ago.

A few years ago, I was driving over to my folks house during the summer for my bi-monthly grass mowing (like a good son) of my folks 6 acres. I had the windows down on this nice day and had an experience that I never imagined. There was an annoying hair blowing in my eye. I kept brushing it aside (semi-unconsciously) until it became so irritating that it caught my full attention.

I was used to this because I always had long hair...But

I had a crew cut! This eye irritating culprit was an eyebrow! I laughed so hard I had to pull over for a bit. Nature was having it's way with me.rolleyes1.gif

A good sense of humor is a good thing to have. I can just see you there laughing your head off, all alone, in the car! Did you tell anyone before you told us?

At least you look real, Harry, and reasonably content. The egret looks totally fake and mad as Hell.

    That was the wind????

ginger (I'll bet there aren't a lot of egret shots like that around.rolleyes1.gif )

    Hey Ginger,

He does look a tad miffed doesn't he. It was windy that day and it looked like he turned towards the wind to ruffle his feathers. I got a really nice series of shots from him.

You gotta do what you gotta do. If the bird just stands there and won't give you some interesting action then zappp! :gun2 It might seem harsh but we all have to sacrifice for our art. mwink.gif

Your ute pic looks kewl. You're lucky, in that you still have most of your hair, to grow long. I used to have longhair and even went for an afro during the disco 70's rolleyes1.gif I had to get rid of it, once I started getting a bald spot cuz it started to look like a steelwool volcano (lookit the crater on that guy's head) :lol

    Anyhow, very nice shots thumb.gif

    Hey Steve,

Thanks. I hung around that egret for close to an hour waiting for him/her to do something interesting. It was lucky that it gave me some good pics because I was getting irked with him.

I've been lucky that I inheirited my dad's hair, my mother's side of the family could kill you with the reflected glare of the sun on a bright day. Poor Andy has started to lose his hair. :cry
