A couple sandhill cranes are just down the road from me. They are going to take up residence in a grassy marsh. I'm glad to see them back . last year they had 2 young ones when I spotted them.

    nice shots DB thumb.gif I am going to post my bosque shots sooneek7.gif on that post I will give you a challenge to shoot when you go after the cranes :D

    Very nice set DB, I love sandhills. They are all over my development and we have a set with two youngsters walking around here.

    The chicks are a lot of fun to shoot.

    Well...for some reason, I almost missed these.

    That last shot is cool as hell. The background and OOF crane work perfectly to draw your attention to the crane in focus. The colors are excellent.
